Licensing Executives Society (Singapore), in partnership with House of Knowledge (HoK) and with the support of A*STAR – Agency for Science, Technology and Research, hosted an interactive workshop focused on strategic IP decision‑making for research and technology transfer environments.
The session brought together about 50 participants from across the IP, legal, technology transfer, and research communities for a highly interactive learning experience. Delivered through a serious‑game format facilitated by Magnus Hakvåg and Håvard Almås of House of Knowledge (HoK), the workshop challenged participants to work in teams on realistic licensing and technology transfer scenarios, mirroring the complexities of real‑world decision‑making.
Through discussion, analysis, and hands‑on collaboration, participants explored how strategic IP choices can shape successful research translation and business outcomes. The workshop underscored the value of experiential learning and cross‑sector dialogue in strengthening the innovation ecosystem.
Licensing Executives Society (Singapore) thanks House of Knowledge (HoK), A*STAR – Agency for Science, Technology and Research, and all participants for contributing to a dynamic and impactful session. The best learnings happen when we put people around a table, give them a real problem to solve and let the conversation flow!
